Amano has the ability to see Yokai via the Yokai Watch Model Zero or a crystal in the anime and fights various Wicked Yokai who inspirit others out of nowhere. He is also a fan of Moximous Mask and considers the fictitious character to be his role model. Hes also the original inventor of the Yokai Watch as his Model Zero Watch became massproduced by Yopple Inc.
