This review is written from a nonplayer perspective. The writing in this series is very inconsistent in terms of pacing. Author tries to explore too many characters conflicts making the story focus too broad and difficult for the general audience to understand. Many terms and stories are not given context or background which can often confuse the casual viewer. I believe this lack of explanation is intended to keep the audience especially nonplayers interested in the game. Positive Point : + A positive point is how they introduce several new characters in a short time and make a big impact. One example is the introduction of FrostNova whose cold and cruel nature is demonstrated through the display of ARTS abilities. + The story is quite emotional and enjoyable if you can look past the series shortcomings. Negative Point : Battle strategy is less prominent than in previous seasons due to the doctors almost nonexistent role throughout the story. The limited duration and length of the conflict prevent the story from being conveyed effectively. The opening and closing songs are mediocre despite being performed by wellknown artists. Many characters are poorly portrayed. Character Discussion: The characters given a significant portion of the story arent solely focused on Rhodes Island but also include Reunion Commander Mephisto and FrostNova. This prevents the story from becoming monotonous and allows for a broader and more indepth depiction of the conflict. Characters like Amamiya are welldeveloped and not overly detailed. There are also characters whose roles and backgrounds such as Chen and the doctor are still underdeveloped. Perhaps a separate side story for Kalsit could be considered to clarify the background behind the oripathy research. Story Potential: If the series had more episodes it might have further explained the other organizations affiliated with Rhodes Island and delved deeper into the world they inhabit. Spoiler and My Favourite about this series : The conflict of differences in idealism and division of beliefs presented between Rhodes Island and Reunion is conveyed quite well at the end of the story. I hope that in the future more moral dilemmas and broader world conflicts will be depicted especially on the Ursus side.
