This review of Wet Dream Aquarium by non food was published on August 14th 2025 and is based on the English translated version published by Seven Seas Entertainment. Story Plot 9/10 Overall the plot of Wet Dream Aquarium was relatively easy to follow and pretty well paced as Yuri explores his sexuality and becomes more comfortable and open about his feelings. Aided by marine loving Ogasawarawho serves somewhat as an inspiration to Yuri hes able to slowly and more confidently share his true feelings as both start to grow more accustomed to each other in this busy world. While the story plays out non food incorporates some charming comedic effects to ease into deeper topics but also to move the story along just as well. Despite the title and back cover synopsis the sexual content in this work is not as excessive as one may be led to believe and the story primarily focuses on the couples romantic feelings towards each other with both hoping to show their affection in various ways outside of their comfort zones. Characters 10/10 Generally Wet Dream Aquarium places a large focus on the two main characters Yuri and Ogasawara with non food assigning adorable and quirky traits to each of them as individuals. Even though their personalities did not align initially more features of their character were revealed as the story moved forward ultimately bringing them closer together. Hiroto Yuri Yuri is portrayed as a cool and approachable character but struggles expressing himself and his sexuality because of his past experiences with other classmates. This led him to be closeted for some time and seemingly cold to those around him but his true personality however is one that is easily flustered and sweetly affectionate. Minami Ogasawara Ogasawara is the marine expert of the class who is pretty devoted to caring for the aquariums and its creatures in Mr. Itous classroom. Though his nerdlike nature causes him to be perceived as socially unaware his passion and ability to openly convey his adoration of what he loves most is what draws Yuri to him. Art Visuals 9.5/10 non foods style is what gives this story more personality and emotion. Ranging from shocked expressions to blushing fluster there is a charming look to the characters as they are set in nicely detailed scenes and environments throughout the work. With particular attention towards various sea creatures there is some added comedic appeal that gives insight into Yuris perspective which I found pleasant. In the English translated version published by Seven Seas Entertainment drafts of chapter cover illustrations were included adding a nice touch. Enjoyment 9.5/10 I found this manga to be pretty enjoyable and lighthearted with some laughs as the two navigate through their odd yet fun relationship. Im also rather pleased with the art and style incorporated which pretty much matched the vibes and aesthetics of the story. I would likely reread this work down the line and do hope a sequel comes out of the pair. Recommendation I recommend Wet Dream Aquarium to readers who enjoy shy and quirky characters who face unconventional circumstances and dont mind second hand embarrassment in lighthearted situations. I also think this work is great for those not looking to get too deep into the lore of the characters and just need a soft and entertaining story to enjoy. Thank you for reading my review
