In all honesty it has been a while since I watched this anime. I do remember the story not in great detail but the general gist of it. And that brought me a feeling: frustration.
In order for me to point out scenes that gives me a sense of frustration please note that this review will contain spoilers.

The synopsis is that the girl Nina has a rare eye colour that only the princess of Fortuna kingdom possessed. As luck would have it they also have the same hair colour. The princess met a fatal accident which prompted the second prince Azure to seek out a replacement. Nina who has been living in the streets was betrayed and sold to Azure as someone who met the basic crtieria.

The frustration is the entire show itself from the beginning to the end. It feels as though Ninas life throughout the series is destined to be one of misery where she is constantly on the losing end. First she got betrayed by someone she trusted the most in the streets. She was sold by her friend to Prince Azure who was seeking a replacement for a dead princess so that they would not incur the wrath of an empire.
To me its just cruelty because you are subjecting an innocent girl to a fate where she could easily lose her life if she were to be suspected as an imposter. And that was what happened at one point of the show.

I cant find the actual scene but it happened right after the scene in the picture above.
Anyway as those of you who have watched the series would know Nina decided to sacrifice herself due to her love for Azure by accepting the marriage proposal to the rumoured coldblooded Prince Sett. It seemed as though her life began to take a turn for the better when she finally bonded with Sett but things started to go down hill when they head to the main palace of the empire.
I did say there will be spoilers in this review but I am not going to spell out every single scene. At the end of the series Nina was sentenced to exile at the coldest outskirt of the empire. It was as if the girl could not catch a break at all.

Now as to why I gave this anime a scoring of 75 I have no idea. Like I said this was watched a long time ago and I am simply following what I rated then.
But if I have to hapzard a guess it most likely would be because of Setts relationship with Nina. I have a soft spot for bad boys loving the female protagonist. It just gives the sense of he would do anything for her even if it means burning the world type of vibe.
