Top tier providence is a masterpiece in terms of storytelling worldbuilding and cultivation. Han jue has a system that differentiates him from other cultivators. Weve seen this 300 million times before except this time han jue plays it smart and rerolls his aptitude for a majority of his early life until he lands on an aptitude that he is satisfied with/very rare. He rerolls only once a day thats why it took him like 12 years if i recall correctly. Now you might say that thats BS however it only shows that our MC han jue is a competent MC as he maximizes his advantages to the fullest. He is also very cautious as well see later on. In the starting line he did his best to choose his own fate aka being stubborn and rerolling until he got something that looked really good. It is part of the system that gave him this opportunity but it is also his nature that had him become enlightened and struggle a decade or so for a better future. It is what happens when luck meets opportunity preparation. The worldbuilding is nice while the MC is OP hes simply a frog in the well for a LOT of the story. There is a bigger mountain on top of the mountain. Hes talented yes but there are also a lot of other talented people in the story. He is simply one of the most talented ones that have ever appeared in that realm but even with that godlike talent he survives not because of the talent alone but because of his nature to lay as low as possible and avoid direct confrontations when possible. Is it a cowardly way of living? It doesnt matter to our protagonist as to him the winner is the one that lives in the end. It is a very realistic way of viewing things in a world where its kill or be killed and I have had trouble with mcs from other manga just being very arrogant and not getting their teeth kicked out. In here its actually apparent that if the MC was boastful and arrogant from the start he would be attracting a lot of attention and be cut off while young by powerful forces beyond his cognition. It is like hes a real human that was put into that cultivation world and not an NPC. His cautious nature leads him to be able to cultivate and become stronger in due time enough to protect the ones important to him. It is like a saying in japanese The nail that sticks out gets hammered down. So in this story his main focus is in laying low because he is VERY cautious. To quote one of the lines in this manhwa You kill young one old one comes. You kill the old one an even more ancient older one comes. Thats why he is very cautious about making enemies with people unless it cant be helped. One of the problems with this manhwa is that the amount of stories that you are keeping up with while han jue is the main focus he also teaches his disciples. So the story switches back and forth between han jue and the disciples. THIS DOES NOT MEAN that its a bad manhwa all of his disciples are experiencing the cultivation world that they so long for. Han jue does not like a life of adventure as he knows that there are dangerous enemies out there and its more important to be diligent in cultivation. The story shows us his disciples adventures what they get or how they suffer and their return to the sect. While its also a good part of the story I feel that some part after chapter 100 drags on for too long but after a while it gets good again. So do have patience when reading it as its worth it in the end. Also did I mention the comedy in this manhwa is top notch? Only in this manhwa did I read for a LOT of comedy and I also laughed along with the manhwa. It is very humorous and one of the only manhwas that work as a comedy. Not to mention that han jue is also a very serious realistic main character it is no overstatement that this is the best if not one of the best cultivation manhwas out there. And thats saying a lot as ive read a ton of cultivation martial arts manhwas. In this story it pleases us the reader and also drags us along with han jues journey to divinity. Han jue is a very realistic character and what he does may not always be what we the reader would do. But it gives him personality as we and han jue are separate entities and its nigh impossible for someone to self insert as han jue as han jue is his own person. In that I actually like this manhwa. Anyway thats all Recommended for: Cultivation fans martial arts fans comedy fans Not recommended for: Low attention span / no cultivation media experience If you havent read cultivation manhwas before its harder to appreciate this as a piece since you wont know how great the heaven is unless youve touched the grounds before
