Those are some fun new characters. Since this is a sequel I will skip the usual story and characters section and dive straight into The Good The Bad and The Downright Ugly. The Good Somehow I feel like this season of DAN DA DAN was a small step above its previous season. The characters were developed well giving them lore and keeping them all interesting through the storylines. Even the new characters were so damn good. Evil Eye definitely got a lot more exposure than Kinta but I found myself liking both of them quite a lot for their roles. The comedy still doesnt miss. I found myself chuckling a lot watching this anime. I think making Turbo Granny more comedic in this season was a great change because I found myself liking her a lot more compared to season 1. The chemistry between the characters is written so well. Just like the first season the OP and ED of DAN DA DANs second season were catchy and amazing. I didnt skip them and often found myself singing along. Im glad they kept the DAN DA DAN chants in the OP. The references in this anime were fun and especially the cameos in one of the episodes especially in the dub. The music in said episode was great too. It did take up a lot of the season which couldve included more monsters like the first season did. Not only that but this arc kinda took away from what the main focus of season 1 was: to find Okaruns golden balls. Absolutely. Season 2 of DAN DA DAN takes what made DAN DA DAN Season 1 amazing and somehow went beyond without losing much of what made itself special. I cannot wait for what season 3 has in store.
