Fried Rice is such a hard nickname tho
Story
A powerful chef named Dennis gets kicked out from the worlds strongest party for a mistake that wasnt caused by him. He would then start up his own restaurant which coincidentally kept capturing the attention of people who were seen as outcasts or had their own problems in life. Dennis would not only serve food but also help his customers with their issues to improve their lives.

Characters
Dennis was a level 99 chef. Hes very strong and often uses his magic to make amazing food. His goal is to just start his own restaurant and to help others smile through it. His assistant Atelier is a young girl who initially came off as shy but eventually became more open to Dennis throughout the show. She was rescued by Dennis after she was being sold off.

The Good
Conceptually the idea of an anime focusing on a restaurant supporting outcasts sounds interesting and the execution was done pretty well. Im glad that the restaurant was a major theme of the anime and wasnt just clickbait in the title. I think the way the show handled each characters struggles was well done. I also really find it comedic and entertaining that the main characters nickname is Fried Rice. This show definitely made me hungry. I might cook myself some fried rice after this actually

The Bad
I wish this anime spent more time developing the lore and personalities of each character. It did feel like there wasnt enough time to do that but I feel like if each character even the villains had more time to expand their lore I would be more invested in the story. They did do this for some characters but not all. I dont know if Im the only one who thinks this but I think the dynamic between Atelier and the other shop guy was weird. Im glad that it wasnt brought up much but it still was something I didnt like.

The Downright Ugly
Nothing downright ugly about this anime.

Is It Worth The Watch?
If youre into food anime and youre into fantasy this is worth the watch. This anime is pretty fun but also has an above average story that can keep you interested with characters that have different struggles. Pro Tip: Make sure you have something to eat while watching this or else youll probably end up hearing your stomach grumble.
Thank you for taking the time to read my review. I hope this helped you with your decision on whether to watch this anime or not If you already have watched it I hope that you can agree with me with some of the points I made. If you enjoyed this review I would greatly appreciate a follow too
