As of me writing this
This will be my first review about animanga content and Ill try my best to express what Ive learned about this series and how it expresses emotions in a more positive manner.
Yotsuba deeply reminds us all about our days of how much of happiness joy and emotions we felt during the childhood years and boy does this show it perfectly it shows us how much we feel about ourselves when we were young and when we as adults read through this story it deeply resembles us in a more positive manner its beautiful its charming to the eye and its just so touching to the heart.
The story starts off with Yotsuba koiwai moving into a new town with her father and seeing all around her surroundings she felt shocked but not just her surroundings but even people items refrigerators air conditioners bicycles being interested in basically anything she could find as a reader you progress through the story and youll be able to see Yotsubas growth and see her gain new friends and who teaches her new things and experiences she befriends 3 of the sisters from the ayase family that being Fuuka Ayase Ena Ayase and Asagi Ayase characters like Jumbo and Yanda add more touch to yotsubas character growth because they are also the ones who play a part in her life the comedy is really good and its mostly Yotsubas reactions which are really fun to read her solo adventures make anyone share her excitement when she goes on an errand for the first time to the zoo and see animals shes only seen in her picture books firework shows and so many other experiences that have become common places for people in general.
One thing I really like about the manga is how it shows the mistakes that we make even to this day not lying to parents not knowing what to say in the current situation but trying to correct yourself to do better everyone makes mistakes but we learn from them and we make them better especially on the part when Yotsuba was trying to make pancakes she made many mistakes but at the end she was able to make them perfectly.

the other scenario which is related to lying was when Yotsuba brought a yoga training ball while bouncing it around the house she accidentally broke the vase but she lies to her father saying that a lying bug made her lie but her father straight away takes her to a Buddhist temple placing her inside the enclosure of the guardian statue which ultimately made confessed that she was the one who lied and then her father let her out and told her not to lie again our parents taught us that one lie will lead to another lie and it continues to happen until and unless you say the truth because eventually they will come to know about it at some point in time.
Yosuke and Yotsubas bond as a father and daughter even when taken as a orphan it feels genuine to see them play together showing the right ways he genuinely loves and cares about her daughter it teaches us a bit more about parenting it really illustrates the importance of understanding the bond between a parent and a child.
Chapter 104 around the time Yotsuba got her first backpack is when it really struck me emotionally that this is how it feels to have a bond between them

Another one of the bonds I liked were with Yotsuba and Yanda their bond felt very strong in many respective ways acting as her nemesis playing pranks on her eating her ice cream both of them like teasing each other and its so fun to read and enjoy because it just reminds me of my uncle and I having a similar bond making it feel more natural to me personally because its more than just playing pranks and being naughty Yanda has always been the goofy type which I like the same goes for Jumbo the more positivity I see towards this series is not just a story but built towards the characters because that is its main strength the story isnt compelling the story doesnt feel concrete but thats the beauty of it that makes it even stronger because thats what I always liked while reading this series the cast spans a rage of ages making the dynamics feel more natural to look forward to as you progress
When yotsubas grandma came to stay for 3 days but wasnt able to tell her before hand but had to tell her when she was departing back home
this reminded me of my days when my grandpa used to stay over on weekends when I was very young and I always used to get teared up when he does leave seeing this immediately reminded me of him he always used to give me money and get me pencil box and so on

It felt emotional to me after reading these particular chapters which were involved with her grandmother which made me tear up I miss my grandpa even to this day and it just showed me that same feeling when I was really young
One thing I always like about any series in general is the artwork and this one is no exception while it looks simple to the eye it makes the expression feels comedic it feels very beautiful to read throughout the series background art is also where it shines a lot

In conclusion if you ever need a break from your life or stress this manga is literally perfect just to relieve you from all that its a perfectly balanced meal of slice of life comedy and how it portrays in real life scenarios while I dont think Ive written the best review im glad I stepped up and decided to write about it and I dont regret it at all
If you read this entire review thank you very much
