Freezing is objectively a really fucking bad show. I am going to start my review by stating this upfront because I do not want any readers misinterpreting this review. Freezing is NOT good. The plot sucks and barely makes coherent sense the MC and FMC are both dense and inconsistent as characters the main threat Nova of the entire series are sidelined so chicks can fight each other and any form of storytelling or in depth character development is replaced with a one off backstory or some form of sexual abuse and/or rape powerup scene. So why you might wonder have I given it such a high rating? Simple Freezings intense lack of respect for both its narrative and characters allow it to do the dumbest most stupid balls to the wall ecchi shit imaginable. For comparison in High School DXD often lauded as the pinnacle of the ecchi harem fight series there is about 1 titty shot per episode maybe more just a rough estimate. Freezing however does not concern itself with holding back on the ecchi. There is at minimum 1015 titties per EPISODE And its not just random shower scenes or lucky pervert scenes though of course we get plenty of that. But what really makes this ecchi work is how it combines with the power system. See these girls cant die. Im not gonna lie the plot doesnt really make sense as to why they cant die it has something to do with pandoras and satalizers and something something holes in back but basically they regenerate organs limbs etc during fights. THIS means that we get to see these girls battle to the death without actually dying which is cool in its own way but what exemplifies this is that during the fights the characters get magical weapons that ALWAYS strip at least one part of a characters outfit There isnt a fight scene in the show that doesnt have nudity therefore showing off the variety of beautiful tits that this show has within. Speaking of the tits in this show may very well be the most beautiful well shapen fluffy and tout breasts I have ever seen in a non hentai anime. The animation especially showcases these assets with both excellent jiggle physics along with consistency with animating the nude tits mid battle. Honestly for what is essentially a hentai the animators popped off for both fights and boobie animations... So to the animators you have my A+ respect. Also the music fucking SLAPS Now having gotten this far into the review the well minded person may be wondering: But RinTohsakaLover arent you just talking about the tits? For such a good rating you sure are shallow And yes I am normally the type to admonish a fanservice show that simply banks on pure titty fun times. I despise many of the popular ecchi due to this but where Freezing differs is that it doesnt hold back on the hentai elements like your To Love Ru or Date a Live. It knows what it is embraces it and has a damn good time doing it. Maybe a guilty pleasure but any fellow gooner rejects out there I implore you to at least give Freezing a watch if for nothing but bewbs
