Some spoilers if you havent read the manga
When I was reading the manga I didnt enjoy the Culling Games arc until the Gojo vs Sukuna battle And everything after that so I didnt really know how I would enjoy this season but I think it turned out to be the best season of JJK so far.
Season 3 is a giant step up from season 2. Not only did the animation look better and more fluid but the plot is even getting more interesting and even the color palette for some scenes looks incredible. Just like everyone else waiting for the fight between Gojo and Sukuna will kill me
Does it seem to anyone else that Yujis character is becoming more complex? We also got to see Megumi fight more even though he is still not using his full potential and we met Higuruma who turned out to be a very interesting character. These are my favorite fights of the season.
1. Maki vs Zenin Clan
2. Yuji vs Higuruma
3. Megumi vs Reggie
4. Yuta vs Takako Uro and Ryu Ishigori
All of these fights are wonderful for a reason. Maki killing the Zenin clan was just a satisfying moment to watch not just because the animation and choreography were amazing but also after knowing just how evil they were.
The Yuji and Haguruma fight was wonderful because it showed Yujis strength against a Grade 1 sorcerer without using cursed energy and it provided more character development for Yuji while also introducing Haguruma and explaining his actions and motivations.
The fights between Megumi vs. Reggie and Yuta vs. Takako Uro and Ryu Ishigori are pretty selfexplanatory. The choreography was fantastic and seeing how welltactical the fighters were was just so cool to see.
And these are my top episodes of the season.
1. Episode 59 Sendai Colony10/10
2. Episode 56 Tokyo Colony No. 1 3 10/10
3. Episode 51 Perfect Preparation10/10
This seasons opening is also my favorite of the anime season but I dont think its as good as the Shibuya Arc opening song. Heres the video in case you skipped the opening every time.

Season Rating 10/10 Definitive: Landmark show/season flawless execution lasting cultural impact and essential for rewatching.
Overall this is the best anime from the 2026 Winter releases and possibly the best anime season of the year. Waiting for season 4 The Culling Games: Part 2 will bug me just because we dont know when itll release and because I need more Sukuna. Even just this scene from the last episode was making me angry that he doesnt have more importance yet. I would put a image or video showing it but I cant find one yet.
I hope everyone enjoyed this review.
