My Review of JUJUTSU KAISEN Season 3: The Culling Game Part 1 1600https://m.mediaamazon.com/images/S/pvtargetimages/c7dd731ac66fef6805cce493c2eebd2affd504db9adbdb30e67057fb371ede8d.jpg I dont want you as my wifi Since this is a sequel I will skip the usual story section and dive straight into The Good The Bad and The Downright Ugly. The Good I cannot understate this: this was a really strong season to follow up the Shibuya Arc. I loved the Shibuya Arc and its intensity and I still do like it more than the Culling Games right now but I still appreciated this for what it was. The story still felt consistently wellwritten and I liked the concept of the Culling Games. As always MAPPA does what MAPPA does best and that is create stunning visuals and smooth animation for anime. Bringing back King Gnu for the OP was a fantastic choice and although I loved SPECIALZ more AIZO was a great song with fun visuals especially the Choso ball. Now my favorite thing about this season were the additions of various entertaining and amazing characters. The introduction of Higuruma was like being reintroduced to my GOAT Nanami. Every scene with him was so entertaining and his interactions with Yuji were great. Plus all of the edits I see of him on social media are so damn good. Allow me to introduce another enjoyable addition with Hakari. Man that one scene with Yuji and Hakari and the Whos Gojo was so funny to me and I still reference it sometimes to my friends. Speaking of I loved that battle between Panda and Yuji. Really gave me WWE vibes. And I cant talk about new characters without talking about the true strongest person in the universe maybe even more than Gojo Fumihiko Takaba. My friends hyped him up like he was the greatest character ever and he lived up to that damn hype. He brought in so much necessary comedy that this season needed and his technique is immaculate. I loved every single second he was on my screen and that little flash of his curse was hilarious EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS DUDE WAS HILARIOUS TO ME HOW WAS HE A FAILED COMEDIAN??? Ahem. Anyways I look forward to more of him when the second part of the Culling Games releases. 800https://static.beebom.com/wpcontent/uploads/2026/03/jjktakaba.jpg?w=1024 The Bad My only complaints for this show are at the start. The episodes explaining the Culling Game and going over what everyones going to do were pretty damn boring. They almost killed the hype for me but thankfully they were able to make up for that lack of momentum at the start. I understand why they would explain the rules but they did that twice and the first time they brought up the rules it went by fast. What upsetted me about the episode discussing what everyone was going to do is that we werent shown what most of them did yet. I wouldve had them discuss what they were doing when it was their turn to show what they were going to do. Those few episodes couldve been used for something better like giving Takaba more screentime. 800https://static0.cbrimages.com/wordpress/wpcontent/uploads/2026/03/kinjihakaritryingtoprovokeitadorisfeverinjjkseason3.jpg?w=1600h=900fit=crop The Downright Ugly There is fortunately nothing downright ugly about this anime. 800https://anitrendz.net/news/wpcontent/uploads/2025/12/JujutsuKaisenSeason3TheCullingGamePart1trailerscreenshot.png Is It Worth The Watch? Yes. Any JJK fan whos watched the previous seasons should definitely watch this season. It did start off sort of boring but man did it get amazing quickly. The animation was peak the music was great the storytelling was amazing the new characters were fun and unique and this was another phenomenal season for JJK. Im looking forward to the second part. Thank you for taking the time to read my review. I hope this helped you with your decision on whether to watch this anime or not If you already have watched it I hope that you can agree with me with some of the points I made. If you enjoyed this review I would greatly appreciate a follow too
