Won-Yeong Lee

Received his Ph.D. from the Behavioral Ecology and Evolution Lab Seoul National University and works for the Polar Research Institute. A researcher who asks questions and seeks answers about why and how by observing the behavior of animals in the wild. After completing his doctoral course on the subject of magpie rearing at Seoul National Universitys Behavioral Ecology and Evolution Laboratory he now travels back and forth between Antarctica and the North Poles Polar Research Institute to study wildlife including penguins. In his spare time he likes taking pictures of animal behavior making drawings and sharing scientific discoveries with others. He has written several books including Penguins Summer and hosts his own podcasts Lee WonYeongs Birds Animals and Ecology Stories 4 seasons complete and Lee WonYeongs Antarctican Diary.
