My scale is fairly top heavy with the ratings but anything greater than or equal to 8.3 is within my favorites territory or just something I respect/enjoyed a lot. I have a hard time finding anything perfect but anything above 8.5 are my favorites that come close. Going in the other direction I find just about everything going down all the way to 6 usually enjoyable enough even if they become increasingly ridden with flaws. Below 6 is a freefall of determining if there are any redeeming qualities about the production of said media.
