joined 26 12 2023 03 started watching feb 23 addressing the elephant in the room w.r.t my rating system yes i am allergic to awarding shows anything below a 5.0 because honestly a show would have to be pretty ass for me not to at least get a 5/10 experience heck even a 6/10 experience. My lowest rated show is https://anilist.co/anime/97766/GAMERS/ which i gave a 5.1/10 and yes i have indeed watched worse shows but i simply dropped them before i lost more braincells hence it earns the title of the... well least inspiring anime ive finished. Also i consider myself to be a pure enjoyer rather than a harsh critic? idk im bad with words of anime and someone that chooses to focus on the good in a show while simply acknowledging its faults. I guess its just my way of appreciating the effort put into the production of the show and the writing of its story at least in terms of rating. MY GENRE PREFERENCES honestly i feel like anything goes at this point but I have found the most fulfilment out of watching good drama and/or fantasy series. i tend to alternate between good and less good shows its just something ive done since i started watching anime in order to mix things up and so that the good shows hit harder while leaving the possibility for me to uncover a hidden gem among the cesspool within the medium.
